Cass and I went out to Panola Mountain State Park
just southeast of Atlanta. We read that there would be a
kite-flying competition. It was pretty easy getting there,
but, alas, no kites. That was just as well, because we explored
the hiking trails and found some really amazing things.
The first trail heads out to the granite outcrop where
if you look closely you can see Stone Mountain (perhaps
part of the same granite) in the distance. The second trail
led to a beautiful creek with microfalls.
