I'm posting Oakland Cemetery in spring this week
to compare and contrast to Rose Hill last week. It's an
interesting study. Personally I think the funerary art at
Rose Hill is much more beautiful than Oakland, but I think
you'll agree that the photographic quality this week far
exceeds last week. Why? What's the lesson here?
Photography is all about chasing the light. These
photos were taken at sundown where Rose Hill
(due to bad timing) was stark middle of the afternoon.
